Logger Memberships

Individuals who are eligible for membership as MLEP Logging Professionals are owners of logging businesses.  A logging business is a sole-proprietorship, partnership, or corporation that:

1) purchases stumpage and/or is an independent contract logger,
2) controls timber harvesting, and
3) owns timber harvesting equipment.

Memberships are available in the following categories:

Under 1,000 Cords of Annual Wood Production
Wood Dealer

Associate Memberships

Associate members are boldly displayed within MLEP’s Forest Resource Management Directory, and are listed along with a link to their website (if applicable) on the MLEP website. Associate members receive copies of MLEP newsletters, and receive membership mailings including policy updates and opportunity announcements

Associate members are invited to attend MLEP–sponsored forest management, workplace safety and business management training events free of charge or at a reduced rate.
