As Executive Assistant of the Minnesota Logger Education Program, Chris DeRosier is responsible for the information management of MLEP, including handling, recording, and maintaining training attendance, membership status of Logger and Associate Members, database administration, and website development and updates. Chris also answers the telephone, assists applicants with the application process, prepares membership materials and the MN Forest Resource Management Directory, and assists in all logistical arrangements for training, meetings, etc.
Chris has been employed with MLEP since 2001. Chris came to MLEP from a major building products corporation, where she worked from 1995-2001 as a reporting specialist. She was responsible for information management, and preparing reports of product claims for the various manufacturing mills and product lines. She also served as an Internal Auditor for the office's ISO certification.
Chris is a native of southeast Minnesota, and has lived in the Twin Ports area for over 30 years. She lives in the rural Esko area with her husband and animal family, and they are empty nesters to two sons and a daughter.
