Cloquet Forestry Center, 175 University Rd, Cloquet, MN 55720 (Tuesday)

Join us in the woods on Tuesday, October 7 and Wednesday, October 8 at the Cloquet Forestry Center in Cloquet, Minnesota for the 2025 Northern Forest Birds Network Conference.

During this gathering, we will focus on the loss of bird species in northern forests (specifically lowland conifer habitat), review climate change adaption tools, discuss forest bird habitat case examples, and explore the Forestry for Minnesota Birds guidebook by having an interactive session with the new resources. The first day will be presentations followed by an interactive workshop at the Cloquet Forestry Center, the second day we will take a tour of the world-famous Sax-Zim bog!

Thanks to the Upper Mississippi/Great Lakes Joint Venture, there is no registration cost. We just ask you cover lodging and food cost. You are free to bring your own food to the event. If you are not interested in staying on-site at the Cloquet Forestry Center, there are hotels in the area.
